HISTORY OF The

WOLCOTT COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH

June-July2013 016The Wolcott Community Bible was Church was established in 1960.  It began in the little stone church, which is now the Senior Center, and eventually located in the north end of town, near Cedar Lake.

Rev. Gerald Williams was the founding Pastor and upon his retirement, his son Rev. Burton Williams pastored the church for 37 years before becoming a missionary to street children in the capitol of the Philippine Islands, Manila. Currently, Rev. Todd Williams, the third generation, pastors the church.

The church emphasizes knowing God and having a personal relationship with Him.  It teaches truth from the Bible which sets people free from such things as bitterness, addictions, anxiety, and lust.  Those attending find their marriages strengthened and families united.  The church reminds all ages that decisions and choices are to be based on good character.

The church is non-denominational and all are welcome to attend.

Our Church Has Been Rooted in Our Community for Over 200 Years!

At Bridge Community Church, we know you want to feel connected to others and connected to God. In order to do that, you need a place that will actually help you feel connected. When you’re without community and a place to belong, it’s easy to feel lonely and disconnected.

We believe you deserve a supportive church home where you can be cared for and make an impact. We understand how disconnected the world can be, which is why our church has been deeply rooted in our community for over 200 years. We love our church family, and we’d love for you to join us.

Take the first step toward getting connected today.

Plan your first visit with us, and then join us on a Sunday morning so you can experience the connected community you always wanted. This way, you can stop feeling lonely and disconnected, and instead, start feeling connected to others and connected to God.
